The Clear Awareness Meditation Method is based on the ancient wisdom and psychology traditions of Buddhism and Yoga, and on the insights of Dr Sherma’s man years of contemplative practice and teachings. The Clear Awareness Practice CD Level I integrates the techniques of Pure Awareness, Sensation Exploration, Pure Concentration, Mindful Notation, and Moment by Moment Attention. Mindfulness, the prime basis of Clear Awareness Meditation, is now used as a potent modality of Complementary and Alternative Medicine. The benefits of Mindfulness meditation has been researched in conjunction with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, cancer and the immune system, coronary artery disease, and stress.

Dr Rita Sherma, a professor of Religion and Philosophy, author, Spiritual Counselor, meditation teacher, and practitioner of intuitive healing, has studied with master practitioners of several ancient indigenous healing traditions.
